Bolton Houses where situated at the bottom of Bolton House Road over the railway Line, when My Mother and Father and my Brother Jimmy moved to Bickershaw from Bridge Street in Wigan in the early part of the 1930's they rented one of the houses from the coal board
remember playing over there around 1976 unaware there was an extra little village there but remember running water and bits that were left over ...quite sad but it makes sense now x
